After weeks of speculation and rumors, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office report on the death of Michael Jackson has finally been released. Not only does officially it peg Jackson’s death to the lethal levels of the anesthetic in his system, but it also classifies the passing of the late pop legend as a homicide. So far, fan reaction has been a healthy mix of surprise, sadness, anger and outrage.
As Rolling Stone reported shortly after Michael Jackson death, a nurse/nutritionist who treated the star spoke out publicly about her fears that Jackson had gotten his hands on a powerful sedative called Diprivan or Propofol that’s used in hospitals.
A search warrant unsealed reveals Michael Jackson’s doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, had been giving the singer 50 milligrams of Propofol every night using an intravenous line. He told LAPD that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia.

The Official Michael Jackson Opus is the first new book to be sanctioned by Michael’s estate. This collector’s edition book will be published December 7th, with volumes flying off the shelves in time for the holidays. The Official Michael Jackson Opus will feature photos, essays and poetry, all bound in leather.
The Official Michael Jackson Opus was produced by publishing company Kraken Opus, which was in discussions with the star about the book before his death. The book, endorsed by Jackson’s estate, is described by the publishers as an ”exhaustively researched and lavishly produced work-of-art”.
Official Michael Jackson Opus will include lyrics never seen before, plus drawings and pictures from the singer’s personal archives.

Michael Jacksons’s family has confirmed that he will be buried on 29 August on his 51st birthday in a private ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. and be limited to family and close friends only.
According to news channels it is declared that Jackson will be buried in Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where many other well known personalities such as Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and Nat King Cole are buried.
Jackson took leave of Neverland in 2005, after being acquitted of child-molestation charges that followed a 2003 raid on the estate. Some family members were said to be against the idea of a public memorial at the home that Jackson said he no longer wished to visit.
The singer died on 29th June and since that time police continue to investigate his death. The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office has completed its investigation and has put a security hold on the results pending the findings in the police probe, which has included investigations into several doctors who treated Jackson, but which has focused on his personal physician at the time of his death, cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray. And no charges have been filed in the case.
